Dirt, oil, and residue can build up on your mask part, so it's not only important to clean them per their instructions, but also to replace each part regularly. As masks age, they can also grow large amounts of bacteria and may even become resistant to disinfection.
How frequently should I be changing my mask?

- Every 3 Months: Silicone mask cushions (full face, nasal, and nasal pillows)
- Every 3 Months: Mask headgear
- Every 6 Months: Complete mask system (includes mask frame, cushion, headgear, and elbow or short tube)

I was so happy to get this mask as it looked so much more comfortable than others I have had over years-abd finally, here it was without magnets because of my pacemaker. What a disappointment! The head gear has pop on/off snaps to get on or off, and they keep coming undone during sleep. I tried them both sides of the snap but they are hard to even get off when you remove the mask, it is a fight to undo. Normally there were little hook clips, or push in clips! The mask is not comfortable and nothing like air fit as around the nose mouth area, it keeps separating and digs mark's on my face in the morning. I am disappointed as other styles masks fit much better over years. I know my size and have been measured every fit beforehand. It costs more, but is NOT worth the extra cost.
