Replacement Schedule

Regular replacement of mask parts ensures optimal therapy, comfort, and hygiene.

Every 2 Weeks
Mask Cushion

Cushions lose their seal over time from facial oils and daily wear.

Every 3 Months
Frame System

Frames can stretch and lose their shape, affecting the overall fit.

Every 6 Months
Headgear

Headgear elasticity decreases with use, reducing secure positioning.

6 in 10 CPAP users say they sleep better after replacing their supplies on schedule.

Cleaning & Care

Keep your mask in top condition with a simple daily and weekly routine.

1

Disassemble Your Mask

Unplug your CPAP machine, disconnect the mask and tubing, and separate the cushion, frame, and headgear.

2

Soak Components

Place mask parts in warm, drinking-quality water with a mild liquid detergent. Ensure no air bubbles remain.

3

Hand Wash Gently

Wash each component in the water. Pay special attention to the vent holes in the elbow and vent ring.

4

Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse all parts under clean running water to remove all soap residue.

5

Shake and Dry

Squeeze fabric parts to remove excess water. Shake the QuietAir vent and lay all parts on a towel to air dry.

6

Reassemble Before Use

Once fully dry, reassemble the mask. Avoid direct sunlight during drying as it can degrade materials.

Supplies You'll Need

Warm drinking-quality water, mild liquid detergent, a clean towel, and a sink or tub.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a prescription to buy this mask?

Yes, a valid CPAP prescription from a licensed physician is required. You can upload your prescription during checkout or contact The Sleep Institute to arrange a consultation.

How do I know which size to choose?

The AirFit F30i is available in Standard and Small sizes. The frame is designed to fit a range of facial profiles. If you are unsure, our sleep specialists can help you determine the right fit during a complimentary mask fitting consultation.

Will this mask work with my CPAP machine?

Yes, the AirFit F30i uses a standard 22mm tube connection and is compatible with virtually all CPAP, APAP, and BiLevel machines, including the ResMed AirSense 10 and 11 series, Philips DreamStation, and others.

How often should I clean my mask?

Clean the cushion, elbow, and short tube daily. The headgear and frame only need weekly cleaning. Use warm water and mild detergent. Avoid ozone or UV cleaning devices, as they are not validated for ResMed masks and may void the warranty.
