Regular replacement of mask parts ensures optimal therapy, comfort, and hygiene.
Cushions lose their seal over time from facial oils and daily wear.
Frames can stretch and lose their shape, affecting the overall fit.
Headgear elasticity decreases with use, reducing secure positioning.
6 in 10 CPAP users say they sleep better after replacing their supplies on schedule.
Cleaning & Care
Keep your mask in top condition with a simple daily and weekly routine.
Disassemble Your Mask
Unplug your CPAP machine, disconnect the mask and tubing, and separate the cushion, frame, and headgear.
Soak Components
Place mask parts in warm, drinking-quality water with a mild liquid detergent. Ensure no air bubbles remain.
Hand Wash Gently
Wash each component in the water. Pay special attention to the vent holes in the elbow and vent ring.
Rinse Thoroughly
Rinse all parts under clean running water to remove all soap residue.
Shake and Dry
Squeeze fabric parts to remove excess water. Shake the QuietAir vent and lay all parts on a towel to air dry.
Reassemble Before Use
Once fully dry, reassemble the mask. Avoid direct sunlight during drying as it can degrade materials.
Supplies You'll Need
Warm drinking-quality water, mild liquid detergent, a clean towel, and a sink or tub.
